12. How to Trade FTX Leveraged Tokens

Each leveraged token token owns a position in a futures contract.  The price of the token will tend to track the price of the position it holds.

 

*Please keep in mind that leveraged tokens make maximun profit at a one-way market. Long-term investment is not recommended for leveraged tokens.

 

You can trade the leveraged tokens on FTX [Spot Markets].  Go to the token page and click on 'trade' for the token you want.

 

 

You can also go to your [Wallet] and click 'CONVERT'.  There is no fee on this, but the price will depend on market conditions.

 

1. Log in to FTX ➡︎ Click [Leveraged Tokens]

Log in to your FTX account, and click [Leveraged Tokens] to start trading.

 

 

 

 

 

2. Select [Leverage] ➡︎ Choose Token to Trade

 

Leveraged Tokens names are consisted of the cryptocurrency name + position name.

 

There is a total of 4 positions, BULL(3x) / BEAR(-3x) / HEDGE(-1x) / HALF(0.5x). Select the position that matches your needs.

 

For example, DOGEBULL is DOGE + BULL, which means 3x leverage on DOGE coins.

 

 

 

Leveraged Tokens Fees

 

It costs 0.1% fee to create or redeem a token.  Tokens also charge a management fee of 0.03% daily. 

However, if you trade on the spot markets, you'll pay the same exchange fees as on all other markets.

 

 

 

3. Agree to Terms of Use ➡︎ Start Trading

 

Acknowledge that leveraged tokens are a high risk product.

 

 

 

4. Select [Order Type] ➡︎ Enter [Price] / [Amount] ➡︎ Click [Buy/Sell]
