06. Bybit Trading Fees

 

When trading on the Bybit exchange, various fees are charged. The rate varies depending on the type of transaction (deposit, withdrawal, spot, futures, leverage, funding fee, etc.)

 

 

Trading Fee

Fees incurred in futures/margin/spot trading.

 

The trading fee varies depending on whether it is a maker(limit order) or a taker(market order), and differs in futures and spot transactions.

*Maker is a Limited order, and Taker is a Market order.

 

Futures Trading

When futures trading, the trading fee is 0.01% for maker(limit orders) and 0.06% for taker(market orders).

 

Spot Trading

0% for maker(limit orders) and 0.1% for taker(market orders) when spot trading

Deposit and Withdrawal Fee

 

Deposit

Bybit does not charge a deposit fee. However, network fees charged by external exchanges are incurred separately.

 

Withdrawal

Bybit does not charge withdrawal fees in principle. However, network fees are incurred in the process of withdrawing money to an external exchange.

 

 

Withdrawal Time

 

1. If you withdraw less than 5BTC a day, it will be withdrawn immediately.

 

2. If you withdraw more than 5BTC per day, it will be withdrawn 3 fixed times a day.

 

Other cryptocurrencies have different withdrawal times depending on the withdrawal amount.

 

 

 

Withdrawal Fee

 

There is a minimum withdrawal amount and withdrawal fee for each coin.

ex) Bitcoin (BTC) - 0.0005%, Ethereum (ETH) – 0.005%, Ripple (XRP) – 0.25%

 

 

 

How to Reduce Network Fees

 

Bybit can deposit and withdraw other coins such as Ripple(XRP) and Tether(USDT) in addition to Bitcoin(BTC). So if you want to pay the least fee, you can deposit and withdraw Ripple, rather than BTC or ETH.

 

 

 

Leverage Fee

Fees are charged depending on how much leverage you set at your order. The higher the leverage, the lower the fees, and the fees differ for each coin.

 

 

 

Funding fee

A funding fee is charged to Long.Short positions to match the prices of futures and underlying spot prices. Every eight hours, the holders of short or long positions are charged a funding fee.

 

*Funding fees can be obtained by multiplying the position of a short sale or short sale by the funding rate.

 

 

 

If the funding rate is positive, the holders of Buy/Long pay funding fees to the holders of Sell/Short.

 

If the funding rate is negative, the holders of the Sell/Short pay funding fees to the holders of Buy/Long.
