LocalBitcoin is a p2p cryptocurrency exchange. The company is currently headquartered in Finland. The main service is acting as an OTC (OVER-THE-COUNTER) that allows individuals to use local currency to convert to cryptocurrency depending on the country in which they are located.
In local Bitcoin, you can buy/sell Bitcoin, and it is a system that actually sets up an advertisement so that the counterparty comes to the transaction. The fee is said to be 1% of the transaction amount, excluding the Bitcoin transfer fee. It can be seen that it is quite expensive compared to the usual cryptocurrency exchanges with a 0.1% to 0.2% fee.
Anyway, membership registration and KYC are required to use the exchange.
