How to Write TVExtbot Messages in Trading View!

In the last time, TVExtbot created a message that matches the strategy. This time, let's take the time to set up automatic trading by writing the generated message into the Trading View script. The strategy we use was developed with TradingView's Fine Script, and you need to insert a message directly into the code to set the automatic trading alarm.

 

1. Trading View Chart => Indicator Source Code => Check Alarm Code!

- Below is the application of the volatility breakthrough strategy indicator to the Binance Bitcoin USDT Perpetual Futures product.

 

- If you look at the upper left corner, you can check the applied indicators.

- You can check the script source code by clicking the '{ }' icon located in the index item.

 

- If you click the button, the script code appears in the 'Pine Editor' located at the bottom.

- And if you keep scrolling down the code, you can check the 'automatic trading bot alert' item.

 

- We will be using TVExtBot, you can try other bots if you wish!

- However, in this series, we will focus on TVExtBot~

 

2. Vivid messages from TVExtBot, input into scripts!

- Let's input the order message made in advance by TVExtBot into Fine Script!

- In the order message list, click the tab where you have entered the purchase order.

 

- A message will be created at the top, please click the 'Copy' button on the right!

 

- Go back to the script and paste it on tv_msgLong = '---'!

- At this point, please do not delete the single quotation marks and leave them as they are.

 

- Wala! Message pasted~

 

- Next, just paste the liquidation message!

- Please create a message by clicking the message you have set in advance~

 

- Click the 'Copy' button to copy the generated liquidation message!

 

- And tv_msgExit = '---', put single quotation marks around the field and paste it!

 

- Wala! Paste done!!!

 

3. Set a message so that you can flexibly control weight and leverage!

- Now, we will set up the weight and leverage to be flexibly adjusted according to the volatility control technique.

- "bal_pct" : ' ' => This item is a setting to adjust the weight.

- Just type '+q+' in single quotes!

 

- "leverage" : ' ' => This item is a setting to adjust the leverage.

- Just enter '+l+' in single quotation marks. (It is a lowercase letter L.)

 

4. Enter the message you wrote in the actual alert message!

- Now you can input the message you set into the actual alert message.

 

- Please copy and paste tv_msgLong to the right of 'msgLong ='.

 

- Please copy and paste tv_msgExit to the right of 'msgExit ='.

 

- After completing all message settings, click the 'Save' button to save the settings!!

 

- Next, we will apply the set script through the 'Add to Chart' button!

 

5. Check the indicator settings and alert messages again!

- If you click 'Add to Chart', the 'Check Input' pop-up appears again as shown below.

 

- Below are the variables used by Quant Pick, you can follow them the same or change them slightly!

 

- Let's apply the created indicator by dragging it onto the chart!

 

- Wala! Indicator setting complete!

 

- Enter the indicator setting and click the 'Alert Print' button to check the message!!

 

- A message has been created on the chart in purple as shown below!

- If you look carefully, you can see that the input weight and leverage are different for every message.

- And when you execute an actual trade, you trade according to the indicated weight and leverage ratio!
