20. How to Use Grid Trading on Bybit

Grid bots help users to buy low and sell high automatically, in a 24/7 volatile markets. Grid trading bots create a grid of orders, waiting to be triggered. When the spot price hits the target price, a buy order will be excuted, simultaneously placing a sell order above the buy order.

Since grid bots aim to make profit out of small market changes, it makes maximum profit at volatile markets, where price fluctuations are common.

 

 

 

How to Create a Grid Bot

Follow 4 simple steps to create your own grid trading bot. 

 

 

 

1. Log in to Bybit ➡︎ Click [Trade] ➡︎ [Trading Bot]

 

Log in to Bybit and go to [Trading Bot] under [Trade]. Note that Bybit only supports spot grid trading bots.

 

 

2. Select Trading Pair ➡︎ Set Parameters

 

Select a trading pair aand set the parameters, such as the Price Range (Lowest to Highest), Nummer of Grids, Toatal Investment amount, ect.
 

Below is an example of BTC price range of 17k(lowest) ~ 23k(highest) and the number of grids is 10.

Check the details, information such as the interval and profit per grid.

 

 

 

3. Create Grid Bot

Check the details including the total investment, trading pair, price range, number of grids, ect. Click [Create Now] to finish creating your grid bot.
