How to open a Bithumb Nonghyup account (deposit, withdrawal)

 

 

 

 

Since 2018, in accordance with the principle of real-name trading of virtual assets, top domestic exchanges such as Bithumb, Upbit, Coinone, and Korbit have signed contracts with banks and authenticated real-name accounts every 6 months. Bithumb and Coinone have contracts with Nonghyup Bank, Upbit with K-Bank, and Korbit with Shinhan Bank. In order to trade on an exchange, it is possible to have an account with the bank that has a contract with each exchange.

 

In order to trade on bithumb, which I will introduce today, you must have an Nonghyup bank account to be linked. In this lesson, we will look at how to open a Bithumb Nonghyup account, deposit, and withdrawal methods.

 

1. Level Certification (Certification Center)

 

 

In order to link the Nonghyup account in Bithumb, you need to go through level verification. When you sign up for the first time, you go to the 'Level 1' stage as shown in the image above, and you must complete Level 2 identity verification for transactions and deposits and withdrawals. Transactions, deposits, and withdrawals are possible even at level 2, and if you want to trade a larger amount, please note that level 3 and level 4 authentication is required.

 

To do Level 2 self-verification, click 'Cell Phone ID Verification below'.

 

 

 

When you click on your mobile phone number, a screen like the one above will appear. You’re used to it right? Select the carrier you are using, enter your mobile phone number and basic information, and an authentication number will be sent to your mobile phone, and you can simply enter this number on the screen to complete identity authentication.

 

 

 

The level has risen through mobile phone identification. You can now register a KRW deposit and withdrawal account for trading. I have an existing Nonghyup Bank account, so I will proceed immediately.

 

2. How to open an Nonghyup account

 

If you do not have an Nonghyup account, please note that you can open an account online through the Nonghyup All One Bank app or visit the nearest NH Nonghyup Bank with your ID card to open an account.

 

Please note that if there is a history of opening an account within 20 days (including other banks), it is not possible to open a new account.

 

3. Bithumb Nonghyup account registration

 

After the Nonghyup account opening is complete, we will return to Bithumb and proceed with account registration. After logging in to Bithumb, click the 'Register Won Deposit and Withdrawal Account' button on the right side of the main screen.

 

 

 

When you click the Register Account button, the following screen appears. If you do not have a Nonghyup Bank account, you can open a new one at this stage (the method is the same as above), and I have an existing Nonghyup Bank deposit and withdrawal account, so I will select 'Yes'.

 

 

 

This is a guide to issuance of the Bithumb KRW deposit and withdrawal account number. Only one deposit/withdrawal account per person can be registered and cannot be changed later. After confirming, click Apply for Account Number.

 

 

 

Step 1, Nonghyup Bank deposit/withdrawal account number verification. Enter your date of birth, address, etc., including your existing Nonghyup account.

 

 

 

Step 2, Bithumb KRW deposit and withdrawal account number application. After checking the details, click Apply for Account Number Issuance below.

 

 

 

Bithumb account application has been completed. I think I waited about 10-15 seconds. Still, it went pretty quickly. This is a method of depositing and withdrawing KRW to Bithumb account (virtual account form) through the Nonghyup accountant. When depositing KRW, all virtual asset withdrawal services are limited for 24 hours from the time of deposit (KRW withdrawal is possible), and please note that transactions are not possible between 23:00 and 01:00 during the transfer check time.

 

4. Creating Bithumb deposit and withdrawal address

 

It is now possible to freely deposit and withdraw KRW by copying the wallet address. However, if you want to deposit a virtual currency other than KRW for the first time in Bithumb, you must obtain a wallet address for each coin as shown in the image above. There is no need to do so in advance, and we recommend that you create an address each time you deposit coins. If you make an incorrect deposit, it may be technically impossible to refund depending on the situation.
